We would like for you to attend our church, but this is not our main concern for you. Our main concern is that you know for sure that if you were to die today you would go to heaven. You can know for sure!
“These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.” (1 John 5:13)
No one deserves heaven. You have sinned, and Holy God cannot allow sin into heaven. He must instead send you to a rightful punishment in hell.
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” (Rom 3:23)
“For the wages of sin is death…” (Rom 6:23a)
There is nothing you can do to earn heaven. No good works or sacraments can save you.
“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works lest any man should boast.” (Eph 2:8-9)
God has made a way to heaven. That one way is through the death of His perfect Son, Jesus Christ. He died to take your punishment for your sin. Three days later, Jesus came back to life, proving His power over death.
“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” (John 14:6)
“Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:” (1 Cor 15:3-4)
“For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God…” (1 Peter 3:18)
You can accept Jesus’ substitute for you and have a home in heaven. (John 3:16)
Admit you have sinned and cannot earn heaven
Believe Christ died and rose to take your punishment for your sin.
Trust Christ alone to save you.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
